Male OR Female- is there a difference?
21st century society and culture seems to be introducing a big gender confusion.
With guys and girls dressing alike. looking alike and acting alike is there a big gender divide anymore?

Which came first the chicken or the egg?
One of the major influences to this change i believe is fashion. The unisex line of clothes and hair styles is bigger now more than ever. The latest fashion style allows girls and boys to share each others clothes with much more freedom. I can happily wear my brother's Ralph Lauren Polo Jumper which hopefully he hasn't notice is missing. But such fashion crazes have gone beyond power dressing for women or punk skinny jeans for indie guys, no one is trying to make a point about their gender or music preference anymore but simply what they feel comfortable wearing. So is this a result of the fashion industries' powerful influence or is the fashion industry influenced by societies demands?

Possibly the fact that there is less pressure on guys and girls to act a certain way in society and the freedom of sexual experiments have resulted in the freedom of attitude and look. Men take care of them selves just as much as girls do, in the privecy of their own home or openly go to the beauty salon.
When I look around a group of friends made up of both genders there isn't a big physical differece. Body structures and facial characteristics are pretty much the same. So is it social freedom that has influenced fashion and the arts.
